• All research sites, whether private or public, will be treated respectfully, with courtesy, and with utmost professionalism.

• We will not hold any person/s and/or business liable for any injury that may occur. We understand that every investigation and access to otherwise restricted areas will be done at our own risk.

• In the event of an accident or injury, emergency first aid will be provided on location and transportation to the nearest hospital or clinic if necessary by another team member.

• During an investigation we will not tamper with or move belongings or equipment around unless prior authorization has been given by the proprietor.

• All investigations are confidential and may not be discussed with anyone outside of the team until after the reveal has been done and the consent form has been signed. It will then depend on the level of disclosure given ie: none partial or full.

• Before an investigation, there will be a walkthrough of the site to familiarize investigators with areas of activity, available outlets, light switches, and possible tripping hazards.

• No unauthorized people will be allowed on any investigation site. Only team members, owners/residents, and approved media will be alowed.

• For everyones safety all investigations will be conducted in groups of two or more never alone.

• All equipment will be checked before every investigation to ensure there are fresh batteries and that all electrical equipment is in safe proper working condition.

• All cell phones must be put on silent and only used as a backup watch or for emergencies, for the entire investigation. A designated cell phonewill be used for contact with the site owner or other authorized persons.

• No smoking is allowed during an investigation except in designated areas and then only during break time.

• No drugs or alcoholic beverages are to be used during an investigation at any time.

• Horseplay which results in accidents or injury is never permitted and will be cause for actions up to and possibly including termination from the team.

• Any illegal activity will result in immediate termination right then and there and you will be asked to leave the premises immediately.

• In the case of inclimate weather, investigations may be postponed or canceled. The safety of everyone on the team and at the investigation site must always come first.

• Our team is like our family and it is important that we support each other and look out for each others safety. Although we must always conduct a professional investigation we can still maintain a fun atmosphere and enjoy exploring each and every site to its fullest potential.

SCIPIT tm uses digital equipment along with other technology to try and first disprove an occurrence. In the event there is no logical or scientific explanation then it may be possible that it is supernatural.
